STONE MUSIC(長谷川時夫/タージマハル旅行団)

タージ・マハル旅行団オリジナルメンバーであり、ミティラー美術館（インドフォークアート専門美術館）館長として、インドとの文化交流や芸術を起点とした社会実験を重ねてきた長谷川時夫を中心に2022年に結成された即興集団STONE MUSIC。 実験音楽、民謡、ドローン、インド音楽などの要素を取り込みながら、長谷川時夫が新潟十日町の山奥で深化させてきた独自のコスモロジーに基づく宇宙音響音楽を志向する。 参加メンバーは演奏環境・状況によって変化し、今回は長谷川時夫に加え、むんな、Ayami Suzuki、IMAO Takuma、Keita Ise、Keisuke Sakai、Tatsuro Murakami、TOMCが演奏メンバーとして参加し、DJダンボール、藤得成(nullrecords)、西村仁美、藤原るかがパフォーマンスメンバーとして参加する。
STONE MUSIC is an improvisation group formed in 2022 by Tokio Hasegawa, an original member of the Taj Mahal Traveling Group and the director of the Mithila Museum of Art (a museum specializing in Indian folk art), who has conducted a series of cultural exchanges with India and social experiments using art as a starting point. STONE MUSIC incorporates elements of experimental music, folk music, and drones, The group aims to create space acoustic music based on a unique cosmology that Tokio Hasegawa has been deepening deep in the mountains of Tokamachi, Niigata Prefecture, while incorporating elements of experimental music, folk music, drone music, Indian music, and other forms of music. In addition to Tokio Hasegawa, this time, Munna, Ayami Suzuki, IMAO Takuma, Keita Ise, Keisuke Sakai, Tatsuro Murakami, and TOMC will participate in the performance, along with DJ Cardboard, Naru Fujitoku( nullrecords), Hitomi Nishimura, and Ruka Fujiwara will participate as performing members.
